Supporting Mental Wellbeing: Turn Bright & Brew Monday at Nifco UK

Hush Digital     26th January 2026

At Nifco UK, supporting employee wellbeing goes beyond physical health – mental wellbeing is just as important.

As part of out wellbeing activities, we were proud to support the Headlight Project by taking part in Turn Monday Bright. Employees were encouraged to wear bright colours to help spark positive conversations and raise awareness around mental health, helping to bring a little light and positivity into the workplace.

Alongside this, we also marked Blue Monday – often referred to as the hardest day of the year – by supporting Samaritans and their Brew Monday initiative. Instead of focusing on the negatives of Blue Monday, Brew Monday encourages people to connect.

Employees were invited to enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit, take a break from their day, and check in with a colleague or friend. These small moments of connection can make a big difference, reminding us all that there’s always time to talk and that no one has to face things alone.

By turning Blue Monday into Bright and Brew Monday, we aimed to create a supportive, open environment where conversations about mental wellbeing are welcomes and encouraged.

Thank you to everyone who got involved – whether by wearing bright colours, sharing a brew, or simply taking the time to ask someone how they are doing. Together, we continue to build a workplace culture that supports wellbeing all year round.
