On Saturday 13th September, four of Nifco’s own – Bobby Robinson, Roger Clegg, Tom Lowther, and Ryan Brown – put their endurance and teamwork to the ultimate test by taking part in a 12-hour endurance karting race. Their mission? To raise funds for Nifco’s sponsored charity, Dog’s Trust.
The day got off to a challenging start. After a single lap qualifying session, the team lined up 12th out of 16 competitors. Despite a wet track, they fought their way up to 6th place after just 1.5 hours of racing.
However, the unpredictable British weather soon made things even tougher. As the rain returned, the team slipped back into 16th place. Each driver tackled two demanding stints of 1.5 hours, pushing through fatigue, injuries, and ever-changing track conditions.
After an exhausting but rewarding effort, the team crossed the line 14th overall. More importantly, they showed incredible perseverance, determination, and teamwork throughout the challenge.
Their efforts weren’t just for the thrill of the race – they also managed to raise £300 for Dog’s Trust, helping support the charities vital work with rescue dogs across the UK.
A huge congratulations to Bobby, Roger, Tom, and Ryan for their commitment and for proudly representing Nifco in this exciting challenge.
