Supply chain Management at Nifco UK Limited Supplier management functions at Nifco UK Limited are organised as follows: Material Handling Group – receiving, warehousing, returnable packaging management, and internal line feed. Business Unit Material Controllers Group – scheduling, day to day supply chain management. Purchasing – all commercial aspects relating to supply of consumables, production parts and materials, utilities and services.
Purchasing Terms and Conditions Nifco UK Limited operate using a standard set of purchasing terms and conditions which is applicable to the purchase of all production parts and consumables, all suppliers are required to sign up to these terms and conditions before supply can commence. Dependant upon the nature of the part or service to be supplied, suppliers may also be required to sign Nifco’s confidentiality agreement. Quality and Environmental Requirement Nifco UK Limited requires all suppliers to supply products and services in line with standard systems and procedures. Nifco UK Limited main document for suppliers of product is the APPD manual (Advanced Product Planning & Development). The environmental requirement to remove prohibited substances from our product is covered by Substance of Concern Management Standard (SOCMS). Both these standards are an integral part of Nifco UK Ltd supplier management system and should be addressed during both pre-production and production supply. SUPPLIER ASSESSMENTS AND QUESTIONNAIRES All suppliers should complete a Nifco UK Ltd supplier self assessment questionnaire prior to supply of product or service to Nifco UK Ltd.
