Environmental Commitment

Nifco UK Limited understands that controlling their environmental aspects that can impact on the environment, must be a fundamental part of their business operations, if Nifco UK Limited is to play it's part in saving natural resources.

To enable Nifco UK Limited to do this, we have developed an environmental policy which documents out commitment to the environment. To ensure environmental aspects of our business are addressed, Nifco UK Limited has embarked on a programme of activities which include:

• Communications

• Setting and monitoring of objectives

• Continual improvement of our environmental systems

The main parts of this programme are listed below:

• Third party assessment and certification to ISO14001

• 5 Star audit by the British Safety Council

• Consideration of the environmental issues in product design

• Waste reduction

• Re-cycling

• Internal environmental training and communications

• Local community communications

To help us achieve some of these objectives we are developing initiatives for the re-cycling of materials such as plastics, cardboard, paper, polythene and other items e.g. printer cartridges.
