The new roles- below - have been created in preparation for our planned expansion and move to new £8.5m state-of-the-art facilities near Eaglescliffe.

Production Engineer
Working as part of a cross-functional team of personnel you will develop new and existing manufacturing methods. This will include identifying opportunities for waste elimination and automation, assisting in the design of new assembly equipment and refurbishment and re-engineering of existing assembly equipment to achieve OEE. You will also support programme introductions with new equipment installation/modification of existing equipment and produce process instructions for new plant processes and equipment including factory layouts. You will be a qualified mechanical electrical or engineer or mechatronics with experience of working with PLC programming and experience of 6 axis robots would be desirable.

Toolmaker
You will carry out maintenance and repair of production mould tools and develop new mould tools including TPM of existing mould tools. You will be a time-served toolmaker, mechanical engineering qualified with a strong background in injection moulding tool manufacture and maintenance.

Quality Engineer
We are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer who is qualified to a HNC level as a minimum or has an engineering background preferably within the plastics industry but not essential. Applicants would be required to have a working knowledge of the following: -

  • QS9000/TS16949,
  • Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) / Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP),
  • 8D Problem solving experience,
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Experience of Industry Material Data Systems (IMDS) would be desirable. Experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial as would be working relationships with Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Ford etc.
You will be expected to be team player with a positive, logical and flexible attitude as well as possessing strong communication skills.
