Purchasing Terms and Conditions
Nifco UK Limited operate using a standard set of purchasing terms and conditions which is applicable to the purchase of all production parts and consumables, all suppliers are required to sign up to these terms and conditions before supply can commence.
Terms and Conditions of Purchase
Dependant upon the nature of the part or service to be supplied, suppliers may also be required to sign Nifco's confidentiality agreement.
Quality and Environmental Requirements
In line with our ongoing commitment to reduce our carbon footprint and manufacture ethically sound products Nifco UK requires all suppliers of product and services in line with standard systems and procedures; as such the main document for suppliers of product is the APPD manual (Advanced Product Planning and Development).
It is Nifco UK Limited policy to comply with all applicable laws wherever in the world we do business, as such there are environmental requirements to remove prohibited substances from our products this also extends to our suppliers and is covered by the 'Substance of Concern Management Standard' (SoCMS).
Both these standards are an integral part of Nifco UK Limited supplier management system and should be address during both pre-production and production supply.
Supplier Assessments and Questionnaires
All suppliers should complete a Nifco UK Limited supplier self assessment questionnaire prior to supply of product or service to Nifco UK Limited.
