Charity Remembrance walk

Around 30 colleagues from Nifco UK are taking on the challenge of climbing Scafell Pike – Britain's tallest mountain for charity.

On March 11th 2012, exactly a year after the tragic events struck in Japan the team at Nifco are taking on a charity remembrance walk to raise funds for the Japan Tsunami Appeal.

Nobody can forget the tragic events that took place in March 2011 in Japan, this hit us hard at Nifco as our parent company is based in Japan. We want to show our support and so at 6am on the 11th March 2012 we will be setting off on our journey up Scafell Pike in the Lake District. The walk will take us approximately 8 hours and Nifco UK are sponsoring the event by providing us with transport. The colleagues that are not doing the walk have offered to support us by baking cakes and pledging their sponsorship.
