Nifco UK appoint three new apprentices.
You’re hired. Nifco UK have taken on three new apprentices after being inspired by the 100 in 100 campaign. We have taken on Thomas Beagrie, Thomas Waldock and Joshua Appleyard. Nifco UK decided to appoint the three young apprentices in response to a campaign being ran by the Evening Gazette and The Journal in conjunction with the National Apprenticeship Service and the North East Chamber of Commerce.
Our very own Managing Director Mike Matthews started his career as a tool maker apprentice, as well as our Sales manager Andrew McDowall. Nifco UK realised many young people are struggling to get into the work place and so decided to advertise and appoint three new apprentices. Mike Matthews said ‘we have made a commitment here at Nifco to recruit two apprentices each year for as long as we are adding to our headcount.
